spring calving
we have started calving the first of the pedigree heifers, so far 6 have calved. Most of the calve’s have been got by AI, and so far all by Wilodge Tonka.
Autumn on the farm
well most of the autumn planting is done so far, with just one field of wheat left to plant and then its onto harvesting the forage maize for the cattle’s winter feed and waiting for the potatoes to be lifted.
